User Guide - General Information


Welcome to the Responsive Teaching Planning Tracking Program (RTPTP). This user-friendly, internet-based program is designed to make it convenient and easy for professionals to:

1. Develop and print all of the Responsive Teaching intervention session plans described and outlined in the Cognitive, Communication and Social Emotional chapters of Responsive Teaching: Relationship Based Developmental Intervention;
2. Print intervention tools needed to implement RT including: Pivotal Behavior Profiles for each developmental domain addressed by Responsive Teaching, Intervention Session and Family Action Plan forms, as well as the RT Intervention Observation Guide;
3. Maintain records of intervention activities conducted with children and families; and
4. Generate helpful intervention reports including: Client Lists (names and contact information of clients on active caseloads), and Intervention Activity Logs (Record of RT intervention services provided to all clients on active caseloads over designated periods of time).

This guide describes each of the functions included in this program and illustrates how to access and use them. The first section contains a brief introduction, focusing on the relationship between RTPTP with the intervention sessions outlined in the Cognitive, Communication and Social Emotional chapters of Responsive Teaching: Relationship Based Developmental Intervention. The second section displays each of the screens you will use in this program. Helpful hints are offered for using each of the functions listed on these screens.
